Nice little cottage with lovely views out across the marshes to the sea. Nice garden with potential.

− Garden lacks decent furniture and is insecure for dogs, as the net fencing only covers 3/4 of the perimeter and the cottage is just a few meters from the road. Great shame as the outside space could be so nice to sit in and enjoy this time of year. We’d be back for longer if these things were addressed.

Position on the coast … Quirky cottage … Everything you needed ..

− Great shame bedroom now at the end ….as pictured on details …views from where main bedroom was… although warmer in back room …Mattress very springy… not that comfortable.. Great shame not even a few logs left …as pictured also .. eventually found we could buy at Pub .winter holiday would help to have start of logs .. House cleaner needs to dust on wood base of chairs & metal on to table .. thick with dust .. Garden very dangerous for our dog ,,, thick thorny Rose pruning left all over the lawn .. he came in limping with pruning thorns in his paw .. bleeding , luckily all ok ,cleaned etc .. Chairs at kitchen table awful, so low, chins nearly on table top .. so cold to sit on too being metal ..

Salthouse is a great location and enjoyed walking in the area. Property disappointing tbh.

Location fantastic, bedrooms with view excellent, responsiveness when issue with TV flagged was extremely efficient and Norfolk Stay resolved the problem quickly.

− Strong dog smell, particularly in living room, sofas needed a hoover. Kitchen utensils needed a clean before use. Property generally needs some tlc.

Wonderful place in a great location and fabulous countryside.

Ideal for a couple … cosy and had everything we needed. Great location overlooking the salt marshes, near the sea and best of all … next door to the pub!!

Great location for North Norfolk Coast

− The cottage was basic but adequate. However, it needed a general upgrade. Unfortunately the upholstery in the living room - particularly the orange sofa and blue chair cover was grubby. The metal chairs in the kitchen were old, uncomfortable and rusty - one left a rust mark on white linen trousers, the small ironing board was broken, dirty and should be thrown out. And there was no outdoor seating for the private back garden. Lovely old building and good location but some basic work needed to upgrade to a usual standard.

Although this cottage is in an ideal situation, with great view, easy access it had many problems.

Location was good.

− Didn't like that cushions and carpet covered with short white hair from a dog. The lack of space for storing food. The mismatch of unusable pots and pans.The black slippery stairs. The lack of outdoor seating. The lack of care in decor and maintenance.
