Nicely appointed and decorated but plumbing issues and not ideal communication.
4.0The Accommodation is central, well appointed with new kitchen bathroom and nicely decorated.
− We were advised by text before arrival the dishwasher was out of order, not a problem - however on arrival there was no running cold or hot water in the kitchen. We advised owner immediately and were told to use the kettle for cleaning up in kitchen. We expressed with 2 kids and intent to breakfast at apartment for 3 mornings it wasnt ideal and asked if just cold water could be fixed the next day, but was advised impatiently "No Andrew ....and I did text you...", (having no kitchen water at all is a bit different to no dishwasher). Subsequently both of us scolded our hands trying to clean kitchen before checkout, its simply not practical to try to keep refilling a kettle and cooling it down while trying to cleanup before a checkout time. The Gas for all hot water ranout on the second morning. This was resolved by the owner by afternoon but meant no hot showers that morning. Not major but there is no information or instructions on using appliances (fireplace, heating etc) or any local information (maps, pamphlets etc), always helpful when you use self contained apartments. Combined issues with no offer of recompense and impatient tone to the kitchen water issue left us unimpressed.

Wonderful place to stay in perfect location but lacking some attention to detail
8.0We loved the look of the apartment! It was cosy and beautifully furnished! The bed was extremely comfy! The location was also perfect!
− We were surprised that there were no toiletries available and even though there were towels we had to go and buy some face washers.
The Wandering Grape was an absolute gem in the heart of Mudgee.
9.0The Wandering Grape was extremely comfortable and spacious, with lovely decor touches. It was conveniently located in the heart of Mudgee, and the addition of breakfast supplies and a bottle of wine were very much appreciated!
− There wasn't anything negative about the Wandering Grape, however a small bin in the bathroom would have been useful.
