− First of all as we entered the property we were in shock as the bottom of the door was jammed & in the hopes it didn't break as the house looked outdated, we managed to push it open. The smell of the house was horrific, the smell of old & mold lingering throughout it literally smells like death. There was dust everywhere on the furniture especially windows & blinds it was horrendous. Dust in all corners of the house with spiderwebs & insects in bedrooms it was a horrible experience. Everything just felt & smelt very old. It's unfortunate as the layout of the house is wonderful but the smell, dust & bugs made us so uncomfortable so we left shortly after arrival only to come back later that night to sleep as home for us was two hours away. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, one of my children used the bath, the rest of us refused to use the bathrooms & he couldn't remove the plug so I went to the kithchen to find a utensil to pull out the rubber & noticed mold on a knife & other utensils in the drawer I quickly closed it as I was disgusted. We suffered that night going to bed the bedding & smell of linen made us feel absolutely sick. I honestly couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning. We traveled there for 2 nights for our children's sports tournament & if it wasn't for that reason, we would have taken the two hour drive back home. I truly wish the owners of the property get rid of the mold, smell, dust, bugs, everything outdated eg. dusty yucky blinds, outdated tv (has a line through middle of screen) no hdmi port for kids to connect PlayStation (very outdated) broken lightbulbs in lamp & disinfect the entire household.
