The apartment matches the photos, and the residence pool is nice but very chlorinated, difficult to reach and mosquitoes. Choose a booking in West End or West Bay.

− The apartment is extremely dark, with sealed bay windows covered by dark film, so there is very little natural light or ventilation. There were a huge number of mosquitoes, and the outdoor areas were difficult to enjoy. Gardeners cut down the surrounding vegetation several times a week, which created constant noise and removed much of the local tropical atmosphere and wildlife, leaving the residence feeling empty and somewhat depressing. Camp Bay itself is very isolated, with almost no nearby activities, restaurants, or services. The kitchen equipment is very basic, the WiFi is average with occasional interruptions, and our experience with the hosts was unfortunately VERY unpleasant and unfriendly.

Perfect stay, close to the beach with an amazing view

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment and would absolutely recommend it. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The terrace is fantastic — it’s spacious and offers a beautiful view over the ocean and the surrounding green landscape, which made it a perfect place to relax in the morning or evening. The hosts were great. Communication was easy, check-in was smooth, and they were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We would also highly recommend staying in this part of the island. In our opinion it’s the best area of Roatan if you enjoy nature, beautiful beaches, and a peaceful atmosphere. Camp Bay and Paya Bay are nearby and are some of the most stunning beaches on the island. It doesn’t really make sense to travel to a tropical island like Roatan and stay inside the busy town areas — this location lets you actually enjoy the natural beauty of the island. Overall a fantastic place to stay if you want comfort, great views, and a quieter, more authentic side of Roatan. We would definitely stay here again.

The Apartment was very nice and clean. We easily got the keys from an employee of the owner. The apartment is away from the most touristy areas but there is a really nice beach nearby. We tried several restaurants in the hotels nearby but never tried the one by the pool at Diamond Hill Resort as is was closed some of the days due to new years.

A great place to stay

I liked the location a lot. From the nice, spacious terrace you have a great view on the ocean landscape. It's close to Paya- and the amazing Camp Bay Beach (best beach of the island). There's enough privacy and a supermarket nearby that offers a lot to low prices, even almond milk😊 The appartment itself is just great. It has everything to stay even a long time. The ACs are working properly and I didn't know that showers like this exist on Roatan. 😄
