Very nice place for short stay

10.0Continently located to Monteverde. The rooms were quiet and clean. A beautiful setting for a lodge. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Good place for stopover in Monteverde

− A little bit too far out of town and slightly dated
Wouldn’t recommend
4.0− Be prepared to pay a $13 cancellation fee for any taxi ordered via the hotel. They will not disclose this fee upfront. Felt very scammy. Harassed by three separate members of staff to pay the fee. It’s really a shame because the hotel has nice mountain views but the taxi scam, dirty bathrooms and overpriced mediocre food at the hotel combined with the 45min walk to town make it a stay I would never recommend.
