Idyllic countryside getaway only 2hrs from Brisbane
10.0The moment we arrived we felt relaxed and content, watching the sun set over the distant rolling hills. The farm house was brimming with creature comforts from the fully equipped kitchen to the soft blankets used to warm us on chilly nights. We enjoyed several evenings by the outdoor fireplace, roasting marshmallows and sharing quiet conversations with our children. By day we had plenty of opportunity to unwind … playing some of the lawn and board games, the High Tea Experience on the Mary Valley Rattler Silver Bullet train, and venturing to nearby Rainbow Beach where we could drive along the sand - a truly spectacular experience! Hosts Lee and Laura invited our family to feed the farm animals which also gave us time to chat and hear all about their future plans for the property! The teens enjoyed the ‘lucky duckies’ nibbling lettuce leaves from their hands, and helping the chooks graze on their special seed mix. The serene tranquility of the Hinterland Hideaway Farm Stay was exactly what our family needed to rest and rejuvenate before the hustle and bustle of “life” began again.

10.0We had an amazing stay at Hinterland Hideaway Farm Stay with our big family. The property was spacious, peaceful, and perfect for both kids and adults. The children absolutely loved the animals and the freedom to explore the farm — it was such a joy watching them enjoy the outdoors and interact with nature. Laura and Lee are the nicest hosts you could ask for — warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable and relaxing experience. This was one of the most enjoyable holidays we've had as a family, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature in a beautiful setting!

10.0Great complimentary breakfast with very quiet location. Perfect for shift workers looking to sleep during the day and rest after long nights. Hosts were very accommodating with late check out also. Highly recommend!!
