− the top unit feel very inclosed , when booked one cant see on website you end up in a top unit or a unit with small window facing the road

Very enjoyable except for my dinner.

The dinner was okay but the breakfast (Omelette ) was excellent. Being on the dam stunning in the sunset and also with early morning light on it.

− No Rusk to have with morning coffee. No wet wipes or little bowl to wash fingers after having ribs for dinner. Chips were soggy not crisp.

A convenient overnight stopover. Recommend booking the larger dam facing rooms - if available.

Nice stopover in the area. Breakfast was good.

− Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. Our room faced the petrol station, and there was significant noise from trucks arriving and departing throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. The room itself was quite small and, compared to the dam-facing rooms, felt overpriced for what was offered. The bed was hard and not particularly comfortable. We also struggled to open the windows in both the bathroom and shower area, and the brick windowsills were dirty, with cobwebs and pigeon droppings. The television reception was also disappointing, with only one channel watchable as the others were too grainy. On the positive side, the room included a pleasant coffee station and a small fridge, which were appreciated. The restaurant has a beautiful setting and lovely atmosphere, although it closes at 8:00 pm, so you need to order, finish dinner and be out of there before 8. We also really enjoyed the deli shop at the garage, which was a convenient and pleasant addition to the stay.

Loved the location, the facilities and the atmosphere. We would live to stay again but ...

− ... the beds were unbearably uncomfortable, as was the sofa. We didn't sleep at all because the mattresses are so hard.
