9.0Yes, right in front of the ocean - an amazing view and breeze - but you need to understand - there are waves here and swimming is difficult, especially for children - but the wind is great for kiting and we enjoyed long walks along the sandy shore - we was happy!

2.0− Prior to our arrival, I had to asked about the check-in process and where to obtain the key. When we arrived at the Victorian, there was no instructions, no note, nothing. Before unpacking our belongings, we had to wipe the dust off the top of the nightstands and dresser drawers. Had to sweep the floors as they were dirty. Once we settled in, we tried to connect to the Wi-Fi. We noticed there was no internet connection or cable. We tried everything possible to connect. Called the owner, he said that he had been having trouble with it a few days prior but never rectified the situation prior to our arrival. I informed him that this trip was part vacation and part work. Now a days, Wi-Fi is a necessity not a luxury. We finally figured out that it was a bad router. We stayed one night. That evening, my husband had to activate our Verizon international account, costing us money, so that we could contact our family letting them know we arrived. The next morning, we made coffee. We had to boil water to use the 2-cup coffee pot. The bedroom window has no shade, so you're up bright and early. We walked to a friend's condo to connect to their Wi-Fi. Not feeling very confident at this point, we secured another place to stay where Wi-Fi and cable was hooked up within an hour and had no issues whatsoever during our stay there. Owner at the Victorian notified us at 4pm that a technician was dispatched to the condo. We had already vacated the Victorian. Essentially, we paid for two accommodations. We just received a message that the owner states that we didn't follow the policy and left without paying for our accommodations. This is incorrect since the policy states that guests will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation prior to arrival. We paid in full back in December. Disappointing. Will never book at the Victorian again.
