Good location to explore the Lake District
8.0Quiet, clean, spacious house, comfortable beds and pillows, good shower, practical kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave, no coffee machine. Clear instructions on how to access the property. Free parking next to the house. Little Spar within 5 minutes driving distance. Finding EV chargers close by was a challenge, Whitehaven is closest with fast chargers.
− The apartment is very practical and clean but does not feel cozy, no pillows, no blankets, we used the spare quilt from the second single bed on the settee so we didn't have to switch on the heating. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds but one has to crawl over the first bed to get out but as we were a party of 2, it didn't really bother us.

10.0Lovely quiet cottage
Served our needs well. Allowed us to do all we wanted to do. Would recommend to others.
8.0Location served our purpose well Beautiful scenery within easy distance Early access on first morning Nice, clean facilities
− The shower was temperamental The main bedroom didn't get sufficiently warm
Overall great value for money, the perfect spot to explore the lakes.
8.0Great little property, clean and welcoming. Facilities were good - very comfy beds! Lovely little outdoor area to sit in (would benefit from some potted plants but that's my personal preference). Great value for money.
− Couldn't figure out how to get the water past luke warm, it was fine to wash dishes but if we were staying longer and I'd of wanted a bath I would of had to contact the owner. No corkscrew (a necessary) we had to borrow one from a neighbour. Only one tiny mirror in the bathroom, not that I'm vain but I like to check I look ok before leaving the house.
Good
7.0Nicely maintained property in a good location close enough to the seaside facilities for us and our two teenage granddaughters. The cooking facilities were also in good condition so we were able to prepare meals quite easily.
− The property was too small for two adults and two teenage children. The second bedroom was barely big enough for two single beds. Also there were only two dining chairs, so not really suitable for our needs. Also there was no storage space in the small bedroom so the children were unable to unpack properly which was disappointing.
This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
