A gem in the woods and nearby VIR!
10.0I traveled to VIR for a track day. In the past, I've either stayed at a local Danvillle hotel, at the track hotel or slept in my trailer. I took a chance on the Backwoods rental and was extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the small house. Its at the end of a one way road terminating in a well maintained gravel drive. All of the appliances were in great working order. You have to bring your own food, which is to be expected but this house exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay there again. Its about 15 mile to the track which is no big deal. The peaceful atmosphere was perfect after days of listening to race cars!

The best home away from home to visit our family in the area.
10.0We were only there to sleep and cook dinner because we were seeing family in the area. The house was great the kitchen was well stocked with tools and utensils. There was even coffee which made me so happy because we forgot ours at home.

Be prepared for noisy guests in a 2nd rental property next door.

− Long rock driveway takes you to a nice cozy home. Larger home next door. You'd think it would be peaceful as secluded as it was but they had workers staying at the larger house who were noisy and inconsiderate, had a puppy which was stated wasn't allowed. They left trucks running often, once for over an hour. Rode a 4 wheeler up and down. Woke us up at 7am on a Sunday which wasn't appreciated. Inside the home was nice. My only complaint is that the sinks In both bathrooms had very low pressure.
