Modern apartment let down by difficult stairs snd lack of cleaning
7.0The owner was very responsive / helpful. The location was very good, right next to the main shopping area (M&S). Bed was comfortable. Great smart TV. Modern feel. Surprisingly quiet, given location.
− The steps up to the property are very difficult with luggage. Steep and narrow in parts. There’s also steps leading up to the property. We stayed three nights and there was no cleaning. Our bins (including toilet bin) were overflowing and because the shower leaked significantly our bath mat was constantly soaking so not having clean towels was a problem. In addition to leaking, the shower was a bit ‘style over substance’. Strange overhead contraption that didn’t really work properly so handheld was all you could really do. And the hot water didn’t last very long. All in all, for the price we paid, I was a bit disappointed.
