Authentic hideaway stay in the Tuscan countryside

I visited end of August 2024. I loved my stay in the Tuscan countryside! It is very important to set expectations about the type of stay - it is an apartment in the countryside down a dirt road that takes 5 mins to drive down. It is very peaceful and wholesome. There are two apartments, this one is the upstairs apartment, its very large and spacious and has typical Tuscan interiors and décor. The outside areas are all shared which I had no issues as there is a lot of space and the other occupants of the apartment were out most of the time. Anytime I was in the pool area I was on my own, it was very peaceful with beautiful views, I would stand in the pool and read my book overlooking the views. There are tomatoes growing on site which the owners said I could eat. I saw some reviews about the bugs/bees and I did not have any issues with this other than the usual amount of insects when staying in the middle of the countryside. The owners were absolutely amazing! We communicated mostly using google translate and were always willing to offer any help I needed. I was going to a wedding a 10 mins drive away at Le Pescaia Resort and the owners kindly offered to drive me for a small fee so I didn't have to drive myself (taxis are extremely expensive in the area as they need to come from Grosetto). I was extremely grateful for this and felt they really cared. The pizzeria a 5 mins drive away and run by the same owners of the apartment, the views from the pizzeria are breath-taking. Note: I didn't cook or try to cook in the apartment as I instead chose to eat meals offsite, including in the pizzeria (which was excellent and busy) so I can't comment on the cooking resources in the apartment. The closest supermarket is about a 5/10 mins drive away.

− The dirt road to the apartment from the main road is not signposted, I was confused which road to go down but the owners came to meet me to lead me in my car down the road. The dirt road does have a lot of pot holes/bumps, it is a 5 mins drive on dirt. I recommend a larger hire car. I had a large SUV so was fine but a car with a lower frame would have difficulty driving down the road. I'm used to having a coffee every morning as soon as I wake up but there wasn't a kettle or coffee machine in the apartment when I was there.
