4.0− Magpie cottage Das Cottage hat von außen einen der Gegend typischen Charakter. Es liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße, was von der Lautstärke nicht stark beeinträchtigt. Der Garten ist klein und landestypisch bepflanzt. Der Grill ist leider sehr schmutzig und noch mit alter Kohle befüllt gewesen, sodass wir von der Nutzung abgesehen hatten. Das Gartenmobiliar ist in die Jahre gekommen. Im Haus inneren empfängt einen leider ein sehr muffiger, feuchter Geruch, der sich in jedem Raum befindet, seinen Höhepunkt aber im Esszimmer erreicht. Man hat die Bäder und Küche auf einen modernen Standard gebracht, allerdings ist die Küche auch schon sehr abgewohnt. Utensilien (Bestecke etc) sowie die Kochtöpfe sind unansehnlich. Der Wasserkocher und der Toaster sind sehr unappetitlich anzusehen, weshalb wir diese sogleich wegstellten und nicht benutzen wollten. Nett war, dass wir ein Willkommen Paket erhielten mit Keksen, Waschtüchern und Milch. Im gesamten Haus ist es stets kühl und feucht. Die Betten sind teilweise durchgelegen. Die Innenbettdecken unsauber. Hundehaare hätten vor Gastwechsel entfernt werden können. Die Couch ist leider wenig sitzgeeignet, da diese ebenfalls einen leicht schmutzigen Belag aufweist. Die Besitzerin ist freundlich und antwortet schnell. Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind sauber. Wir würde nicht erneut buchen.

9.0Sehr gut ausgestattet und richtig charmante Unterkunft. Perfekt um Cornwall zu entdecken. Besonders die Ensuite-Bäder für jedes Schlafzimmer sind toll für mehrere Reisende! Die Gastgeber waren zauberhaft und jederzeit für uns zu erreichen!

8.0We did like the location and the house. It was just what we needed for our stay, really good parking space. As well is next to 2 roads you can’t hear the cars they have really good windows.
− The first day we didn’t had champu or shower Gel in the house so we had to use the hand soap, but we did get some the following day, so wasn’t the end of the world.
