Avoid the pool
3.0It was clean, great breakfast. Room was nice and comfortable.
− My 3 teen children (16/18) were in the pool for about 10-15 mins coming out coughing to the point of almost throwing up, red eyes saying the chemicals were too strong they were having a hard time breathing. The bartender was the only one who said anything telling Lauren at the front desk she will probably need to close it again (again?) Lauren sat at the front desk eating and playing on her phone doing nothing about the pool. Proceeding to then give another guest a pool towel about 10 mins later. The bartender made the comment “I knew something was wrong with it when I could smell it out here”. At checkout I was asked how my stay was, good except for the pool “oh yeah, it is hot in there” no, the chemicals were too strong and I explained the results “oh, we will say something to our maintenance again” so sounds like this is common and no one seems to care to address it.

− The breakfast was excellent. We don't eat pork, so if turkey products are offered, that would fill that. But, even without that, we had an excellent breakfast.
