A quiet, comfortable, homely cottage stay in rural surroundings
10.0There was a small shared kitchen which was well stocked, but would have been awkward if more than one group wanted to cook at the same time. There was a large dining table which was nice, and would encourage people to mix and chat at mealtime, which is a nice idea, but with the size of the kitchen, perhaps would not work. There was a really Cosy and comfy lounge and conservatory, and plenty of tea/coffee if you wanted it. Board games and books were also available, and the place had a very homely feel. The bed was comfortable and there was plentiful hot water in the en-suite, with a nice shower. The whole place was clean. There was also adequate parking. The cost of my stay was reasonable, and I would stay here again on my next trip.
− If breakfast was cooked for you, I think the dining area would be used more, and sitting at the same table would encourage people to talk, which I think would create a nicer atmosphere. However, this would not put me off staying here again.

− Bedroom and bathroom very small hard to walk around the bed and really stuffy and hot, couldn’t sleep whilst there
