Nice apartment with great service.
10.0This was a very nice little hotel. The apartments were very nice for a short stay. The location was quite good and there were lots of restaurants and cafes right on the site. The staff were very, very helpful and nice.
− Beware of the washing machine, which also has drying functions! I washed some clothes the evening before my flight and they were not 100% dry in the morning, so, I stuck them in the washing machine/dryer to dry them a bit more. The machine was on an automatic drying regime and chose to dry my clothes for a few hours, but this was not necessary and I was leaving for the airport. I tried opening the door to the machine but it wouldn't open. I stopped the machine but no luck. So, I waited a few minutes. Still no luck and the door would not open. I then called the front desk and they told me that the door only opens 20 minutes after you force stop the machine from its cycle. I'm very lucky that I was leaving for the airport in 25 minutes, otherwise, this would have been a serious problem.

7.0The location is excellent within the New Bahru precinct which is near Robertson Quay on the River as well as the stunning Fort Canning Park (administered by the Botanic Gardens). The accommodation is in a repurposed school block and our room had plumbing problems which was frustrating. However, the staff were very helpful and we were moved to a new room. The room was pleasant, clean and spacious but it was a long walk to reception and the lifts. Overall it was a good stay and we would use Alma House again.

7.0Die Lage war gut, mit Öffis gut erreichbar. Nettes Personal. In der Nähe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Lokale.
− Spärliche Einrichtung. Im Zimmer befand sich hinter den Vorhängen ein Gecko. Reinigung nur 2 mal in der Woche, außer auf ausdrücklichen Wunsch. Beim Check-In musste man eine Kaution hinterlegen, diese ist bei mir noch immer nicht zurück überwiesen worden. Kann anscheinend länger dauern.
