Beautiful rooms - great for one night.
8.0The Thyme Suite where we stayed was beautifully decorated and it was great to have an upstairs sitting room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
− The shower didn't work very well and the mattress wasn't very comfortable but I did feed this back and they were receptive.
A pleasant and convenient stay
8.0Greeting on arrival and each morning was great, helpful and attentive. The facilities are very good and the rooms are well furnished - the pub food is also excellent.
− Bar staff in the evening were not as helpful or efficient as the excellent morning staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble. It was disappointing that the breakfast when booked (and as it had been previously) was a choice of cooked breakfast, but we later found it was a 'continental' breakfast left in the fridge, but as it was the weekend we could purchase cooked food in the restaurant, which we did and enjoyed it. Whilst the rooms are very nice (we have stayed in both) the beds in both are small doubles and could really do with being bigger for a more comfortable stay!

− Didn’t realise that they don’t provide a breakfast service on a Monday. The in-room breakfast was fine but no proper coffee.

5.0− I was in the Rosemary Suite (in the roof). There was no emergency exit - none of the windows provided an egress onto a roof with exit ladder.

The property closes at 19:00 on Sundays. Guests that plan to arrive after 18:00 on Sunday must contact the property prior to arrival to arrange their check-in.
