9.0Location was perfect, 3minute walk to the lifts, comfy bed, onsite onsen was great to have. small but great during slow season to have alone.
− no common room so we either stayed in the room or went on a walk but super small town so options for places to sit and hangout are very limited

− The whole place has a student lodge vibe and the hallway was very narrow. You need to bring eye mask as there is no blackout curtain. The shared sink and bathroom were very cold so it wasn't comfortable to use during the night.
Great, no frills stay, for a few days! Good value.
9.0Great spot, right next to Togari which is a bit of a hidden gem for skiing. Close drive to Nozawa for skiing as well. The White Lodge is recently renovated form an older traditional Japanese Ryokan. Has western beds and owner is very cool, has great tips.
