Had high hopes looking at reviews, but severely disappointed.

Walking distance from Roukenglen Park. Quiet area with not much traffic. Ample parking spaces outside.

− We had booked this place to host friends visiting from abroad. Very disappointed to see the accommodation had not been cleaned properly before we arrived to check-in. Dirt on surfaces, smudged glass and mirror, streaky cabinet doors. Hair in the toilet and the dirty microwave were really off putting. I am glad I moved the placemats on the dining table because they were also dirty and had oil and food streaks. We had to go get cleaning products and clean the place before our friends arrived. Wobbly toilet seat was annoying as it would move a lot when trying to sit on it. The listing mentioned tumble dryer as a facility, there was only a washing machine with drying function, which is not the same as a tumble dryer! Friends shared springs in the mattress could be felt when lying in bed. This is not anyone's fault, but I wish I had known that once you're in through the main door, there's a flight of steps to get to the actual accommodation space. So be prepared to lug your suitcases etc upstairs. Very fiddly door lock. Literally one (partially used) toilet roll in the toilet. Didn't find any spares in the cupboard or anywhere. There was a wardrobe/closet but no hangers that could be used. There were just the hotel type hangers that hook on to the wardrobe, but no hooks. Essentially the hangers were just clutter, not usable. Trash in bedroom corner. We were very embarrassed to have provided this accommodation to our friends and it was very stressful cleaning the place and arranging essentials ourselves before our friends arrived.
