We liked the location ! Near bus stop and convenience stores. A quiet suburb which wasn’t touristy.

Property is big and clean. Access was easy and the location is close to Mile End bus stop for easy access to Valetta. There’s a bunch of restaurants on the same road as the bus stop including a great felafel place and excellent Ethiopian. The area felt safe and wifi was good- I was having to do some work online meetings and worked perfectly.

− The main road in front of the building is quite busy, especially the noise of motorbikes. We used the back bedroom which was dead silent but just be aware if you’re thinking to use front room it’s noisy. For the same reason we didn’t have the balcony door open during the day due to noise. We also let the owner/ property management company know the balcony door doesn’t lock. They said it’s not a problem as Malta is safe. Indeed it is, and the apartment is on the second floor so risk is low- but sleeping with unlocked door wasn’t idea (and not sure if insurance would cover you if anything was stolen)

I really liked how clean it was, that there were two bathrooms, the kitchen was very well equipped and that the owner of the apartment answered very quickly to every question.

− There could have been more towels for 4 days we only had one big and one small towel per person. Otherwise everything was very nice.

Strong detergent smell "Never for allergic people"

Clean, spacious two bedroom apartment. All facilities were there, Working lift, Good wifi signal, good location, there were few shops and restaurants nearby, good communication with the host.

− Unbelievable very strong detergent scent all over the flat, especially the double bed room where it's impossible to get into it. The two single beds room was a bit better. We had the worst experience although we asked the host not to use strong detergent when we booked and the host confirmed this. We used our own bed sheets and blankets and spent most of the time outdoor. The only time we were in when sleeping, we were forced to keep the windows open all the night and had bad sleep due to cars noises. The two single beds mattresses were very uncomfortable and hard. Having asthma and allergic rhinitis made things worse. We had no other choice as we arrived late in the evening. Nothing can be done rather than aireation which slightly worked. We threw most of our clothes when we were back home as the smell was stuck to them. So a huge financial loss. This strong detergent nightmare is why the rate given is low.
