Cockroach-infested apartment caused panic and sleepless nights, host denied claim

− Every night felt like a horror movie. Giant cockroaches (3–4 cm long) appeared in the bedrooms from the first moment we entered the apartment, possibly because there were no window screens or due to another problem in the building. We barely slept during our stay. The accommodation denied our claim, as Booking customer service informed us, even though the host had been notified of the problem from the moment of our arrival. On top of that, the host accused us of attracting the bugs. We also paid a €70 cleaning fee, yet we still washed all the dishes by hand and left the kitchen clean before checkout. Very disappointing experience overall.

Apartament w super lokalizacji, blisko do wody, sklepów. Bardzo dobrze posprzątany, choć piasek bardzo się tu nanosi. Mieliśmy jeden problem w postaci dostania się do apartamentu, ale gospodarz bardzo szybko nam pomógł. Gdybyśmy mieli przyjechać w okolice raz jeszcze wybralibyśmy to miejsce ponownie.

− W El Medano jest ogólny problem z zaparkowaniem samochodu, trzeba było się trochę namęczyć, ale nie jest to wina właścicieli:) Brakowało nam kilku rzeczy np. deski do krojenia , ale nie jest to rzecz która psuje pobyt. Ogólnie polecamy. Trzeba pamiętać, że to 3 piętro bez windy, nam i naszemu 3latkowi zupelnie nie przeszkadzało.

− Just some pointers ...Only 2 wine glasses...no small bowls or containers in kitchen ...No spare bedding ...Shutters at top of stairs need shut as stairs and stairwell covered in sand due to winds ...

Prima appartement op een toplocatie

De locatie was perfect, dichtbij het strand, supermarkt en restaurants. Het appartement is ruim en heeft een fijn balkon (geen zon). De keuken is voorzien van alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben, alleen misten wij een koffiezetapparaat (er was alleen een espressopotje). Geen enorm probleem, er zitten genoeg koffietentjes in de directe omgeving waar je heerlijke koffie kunt halen, maar voor ons voegt het wel iets toe als je zelf koffie kunt zetten. De sleutel konden we uit een sleutelkastje halen, dat werkte perfect. Vlakbij het appartement zitten ook twee locaties waar ze lockers verhuren om je bagage op te slaan (wij hadden een late terugvlucht), dus dat was ook erg handig.

− Het appartement bevindt zich boven een restaurant en de afzuiginstallatie zit aan de kant van de slaapkamer. Wij hebben er niet echt last van gehad, 's nachts staat de afzuiger uit, maar het is misschien wel goed om te weten.
