Günstige Bleibe in der Basicklasse - nett - schön - einfach
5.0Das Refugio JB ist wohl sowas, wie die erste Adresse von Backpackern und Treckingfans. Ein Hostel der ersten Stunde mit Betten in 4 Personen Schlafräumen, einer Gemeinschaftsküche und einem multifunktionalen Aufenthaltsraum, sowie einer Terasse mit Blick auf den Beaglekanal. Sehr schön, aber auch sehr einfach. Frühstück steht als Rohstoff zur Verfügung und wird von jedem selbst zubereitet, darüber hinaus ist die Küche natürlich auch für die Gäste nutzbar. Puerto Williams ist natürlich fussläufig zu erschließen. Das ist auch gut so, denn öffentlichen Nahverkehr gibt es nicht wirklich (Irgendein Bus fährt irgendwo hin, aber im Stadtgebiet braucht man den nicht).
− Ich bin sicher nicht der typische Hostelkunde und weiß ein eigenes Zimmer mit Bad durchaus zu schätzen. Das Refugio JB war einfach die günstigste Alternative in dieser doch eher teureren Ecke. Für den gebotenen Standard ist es aber mit 45 € trotzdem zu teuer (in Punta Arenas gab es für 33 € ein eigenes Zimmer mit Bad), auch, wenn hier ebén alles teurer ist.
