9.0Clean, cosy cottage in a scenic location and within driving distance of the sea and other great attractions, like the Saltee Island Ferry.

8.0Castle Mill Cottages are in a lovely location, restful, with surrounding fields and trees. It is very close to the ferry port and we (3 persons) used it for two nights, one at each end of our trip to West Cork. I have used a hotel in the past for this same trip many times but this was perfect because is was considerably cheaper than a hotel for 3 persons, but also much more relaxing given we have catering facilities and a much nicer place of course. It is compact but suitably priced, and Alessia was a lovely host.
− My only complaint is that it had no oven. All other cooking facilities were there.
