Overall beautiful place to stay ✨️
9.0When we arrived we met a lady with the tractor (owner) at the entrance gate who was very nice and friendly to us. Firstly we loved the stunning views and the beautiful animals that welcomed us on arrival. The fire was great plenty of fire wood which kept us warm inside the house. My son, 9 absoulutly loved being a gate boy helping open and close the gates on the property. It was the perfect location for us only 25mins away from where we needed to go. As parents we enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting on the front porch with our hot drinks admiring the view and spotting wild animals, birds, rabbits and kangaroos.
− The house was beautiful but as a small family of 4 it was too big for us. Our main thing that we didnt like was there were no animals that we could pat. Lastly we had a problem returning the keys, but the communication was good with Juan from short stays helping us solve the issue. We would definitely stay again!

9.0The location was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, and it was only a short drive to the local Pub and Award-winning Wayward Winery. The farm animals were so lovely and relaxing to watch outside the windows.
− Opening and Closing the farm gates is understandable as it is a working farm. That is all because the rest of the accommodation was perfect.
Good to know
• As our property is located in Regional Victoria, we appreciate that you will understand the garden and landscaping around the house is a work in progress. We maintain and care for our gardens ourselves because we love gardening; However, the rich nature of this area makes these activities long and constant, especially when battling the dreaded weeds.
• There are fences with high voltage to keep our farm animals in their designated areas. Guests are required to stay away from these fences and to not touch them. Parents are advised to always keep their children under supervision.
• This house is within our farm. Cows, sheep and other wildlife might visit you.
• Our farm and house have gates that will need to be opened and closed manually by the guests when they drive in and out.
• Mt Bolton is within a Fire Risk Area in Victoria so; the outdoor BBQ will not be available for guests during Fire Danger Periods (usually during summer days).
