Quirky.

− Bedroom in the eves was very uncomfortable for my tall husband . Plus the bedroom doors were very awkward. The cleanliness wasn’t good at all The place hadn’t been hoovered up there was muck going up to the bedrooms , the amount of dust under the beds were pretty disgusting ( I wouldn’t of looked if I hadn’t found things in the kitchen ) The saucepan lids were covered in grease as were the barbecue utensil .key safe difficult to get in .

A beautiful and well appointed house in a wonderfully quiet village; the owners have clearly invested in quality in the very convivial kitchen/dining area and bathroom. The outdoor area is a spacious and comfortable area to relax.

− Not a criticism as such. The pin on Google maps is misplaced, the property itself is 40 or 50 meters further north on the lane than the pin indicates. And confusingly the actual building consists of two properties, the first of which is called Old School House, with the rental property next door called Old School with steps up to a gate in a fence behind the gravel parking area. We initially made the mistake of pulling Into Old School House and unfortunately disturbed the residents there. Perhaps the owners could adjust the Google pin and make a detailed access map available online?

The property was incredible, and a wonderful experience staying in a Victorian old schoolhouse.It has been tastefully renovated , a credit to the owners.

Great house, very fast internet. Felt like a mini hideaway, thank you. We didn’t want for anything, very good quality kitchen pots & pans. Cooking was a dream. We were able to work uninterrupted, the dogs enjoyed the beautiful gravel garden. Thank you.

− The smell in general, often when dust is stuck deep in the radiators it gives off musty smell around the house. The extractor fan was quite greasy, I cleaned the vents but the fat in the middle of them wasn’t shifting and I had to wash my hands 3 times to get the fat off. Other than that it was perfect, thank you so much for putting so much effort in to this home from home.

Really nicely furnished, decorated and equipped . Lots of outside space. Good location. Hosts really helpful especially when we locked ourselves out !
