Wonderful cottage stay full of charm, perfect for families
9.0Beautiful cottage full of charm and character. Had a lovely garden and was much bigger than I had imagined. Was an easy walk to the seafront, shop, cafe and pubs.
− On the whole was very clean and smelt nice but there were a few spiderwebs left behind above the fireplaces. The kids weren’t a fan of the spiders but that can’t be helped at this time of the year! Sometime hard to find a plug socket but that’s because it’s such an old house.
A wonderful stay
10.0A beautiful building with a really lovely garden - the wisteria was blooming, which we especially loved. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating around the large table. It was a perfect base for walking to the beach and the Hayling Billy track.
− Nothing was a problem for us - though it's worth noting that there is only one shower in the property and some of the ceilings are low (especially on the stairs!)
Great family time had by all of us.

10.0What an absolute gem, the house is AMAZING, it felt like we had gone back in time, the house is like a living museum with the most wonderful old world charm, yet had everything you could possible want for a wonderful get away. The house was immaculately clean, wonderfully charming and immense fun, we cannot recommend highly enough.

Can’t wait to book again
10.0Beautiful cottage with so much space and rooms leading onto more rooms. I stayed here with my 16, 13 and 9 year old and we were Very comfortable and cosy. The location is amazing with a great pub for food practically opposite and the west town I’m just 5mins walk has a great outside play area for kids. The beech is just 5minutes down the road. Will definitely return and highly recommend Matt and Helen as hosts. Great communication +++++
