Accommodation adequate and clean but didn't like location
7.0Studio was very modern, bathroom and kitchen were sufficient size with fridge, microwave and 1 x cooktop. Bed was super comfy with side tables and power points. Lighting throughout was good and good size studio for 2 x of us to walk around.
− Owners weren't expecting a booking, as we arrived during Cyclone Vaianu, so they needed some time to drive over and open studio and provide keys. A lockbox to provide a code to access key would have made more sense before allowing bookings. The studio has floor to ceiling windows with door on 1 x side with block out blinds but no privacy blinds to let the light in and prevent people looking in, so with blinds closed you either needed the lights on, open the blinds and have the pedestrians walking by able to look in and chat. And if the area is busy in peak period, being right on the road could make location quite noisy. Thankfully for us it was a very quiet weekend in the area. Unfortunately the bathroom sink is stuck in the corner making it difficult to access, there's only space to hang 1 x towel and shower curtain has large gap to floor causing floor to be very wet after any shower. Lounge suite is opposite side of room to TV so I think they wanted us to sit at dining table to watch? If you drive in with a large 4x4 you would need to park in the public carpark opposite the accommodation.
