Better to stay in a hotel
4.0− Old house, house smells, made all of my clothes smell, kitchen very old fashioned, hard to heat up the house. Tight entrance to driveway, paths slippery, located right on main road, yes you will hear the main road day and night. Side road closed so roadworks going on from early morning to 5pm. Nearly paid £500 for a week. Disappointing and too expensive.
Comfy cosy countryside cottage!! Adorable!
10.0Super comfortable beds, lounge dining area decent size, garden area was nice to sit out in the sun and we used the bbq provided (which we cleaned as it looked brand new). Loved the old HIFI set! Also lots of books to read and some on the history of Charing itself. Everything was provided that you’d need to stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. It’s a perfect little hideaway in the countryside but close enough to local supermarkets/shops in Ashford for anything you need. Although the house is next to a main road you don’t hear the traffic noise when inside the house. We’d 100% love to return to stay here again and hopefully will very soon.
