Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir waren 8 Personen und es hat vom Platz her sehr gut gepasst. Eine schöne und saubere Anlage. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Dirty villa with too many problems.

The view

− Everything apart from the view. The villa is outdated apart from the kitchen, the kitchen cabinets are full of condiments all out of date & some more than 5 years out of date. The mattress’s in every bedroom was hard & uncomfortable.

We have just got back from a two weeks stay at Villa Luna and it was far beyond our expectations. From the beginning Simos, our host, was so helpful. Greeting us at the Villa when we arrived, he made us feel so welcome. He provided great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. (Thanks Simos!). The Villa is everything advertised and more. The views are amazing during the day and at night the surrounding hillsides twinkle with the lights of far away houses. There were beautiful sunrises and sunsets . We loved the secluded, private saltwater pool and spending evenings eating al fresco on the terrace. Villa Luna was extremely clean and well equipped. It’s a large property with so much space that everyone can do their own thing, or spend time together. We will be recommending to all our family and friends. Villa Luna has everything you could want for an amazing stay.

Great villa on a great island!

We (a group of six friends) had a fantastic time at Villa Luna in Skalani. The villa is very big and well equipped, the rooms and beds are very comfortable and with six people almost everyone could have their private bathroom. The pool and the whirlpool are fantastic and the gym is a great bonus (and has everything you need for a good workout). The view from the villa is amazing, you can see the Dikti and the Ida mountain ranges (so mountains to both sides!) and enjoy both sunrise and sunset. Simos was very nice and helpful. He was very fast to respond when we needed something. The location is good for exploring the island, it takes only around ten minutes to get to the highway towards Rethymno or Agios Nikolaos.

− The kitchen could have a little more kitchen utensils (e.g. a bottle opener). When you are in the garden or on the roof top, you can hear the big street that goes by the house, but with the windows closed you can barely hear it and even when being outside it did not bother us.
