Decent with lack of privacy

5.0

The location is great. Very quiet and the home is large and comfortable. Love the bathroom in the master and the kitchen is a great size

The pool was not clean. There is a gross buildup of bugs and debris around the entire inside edge of the pool. The water is pretty stagnant and I had bugs sticking to me when floating. Also I felt like I was being watched and listened to the whole time. I booked the property for two people and a dog. And when we checked in, the property owner called me before I could even get in the door and asked me if I had a dog. I said yes and she is a 6 pound Shihtzu. Apparently some miscommunication with the booking.com site. But it made me feel watched the whole time. The camera in the back yard sounds like it just points at the pool equipment. But it actually points at the whole patio and pool. Did not feel private. Also the air conditioning was locked at 70 degrees. Just did not feel very at home or comfortable. I rent a lot of vacation rentals and this one is nice, but the lack of privacy was not something I would want to do again. And the pool having stagnant water, is a deal breaker
