Cosy self catering chalet with an outdoor pool - ideal in the hot weather!

Lovely spacious apartment with the added bonus of a swimming pool and an outdoor relaxing area. Friendly but discreet hosts who allowed us to check in early and use the pool for the afternoon.

We had a lovely stay at Birds Farm Cottages. The cottage is cosy, traditional, and full of character, making it a really comfortable place to relax. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The location is especially convenient if you're attending events at the University of Essex, with easy access while still enjoying a peaceful countryside setting. We also loved the beautiful garden, which was a perfect place to unwind. A charming and well-equipped cottage that we'd be happy to stay in again. Highly recommended!

Perfect location for attending Essex University.

Location was perfect to attend my daughters graduation at Essex University. Accommodation was very comfortable, good size & had everything we needed for our short stay. Lovely surroundings & even a pool... which sadly, we didn't get to use. Plenty of towels for both showering & pool use & fans were a plenty... especially with the heatwave!

− Our biggest gripe, was the shower. There was hardly any pressure & showering took alot longer than needed.
