10.0When we arrived, we found that the door was unlocked and temperature of the room was just fine. The host has welcome board with instructions and provided foods, snacks and homemade port wine. The property is very clean and cosy. Highly recommended!

10.0Merino Cottage Meadowbank Lake is truly a hidden gem. Pip is a friendly and responsive host. Her warmth and thoughtfulness could be felt throughout the cottage. From the welcome goodies basket of port, biscuits, chocolates, delish breakfast items of bread, eggs, fresh milk, jam, avocados, coffee, tea to clean, warm (heater, hot water with good water pressure, comfy mattress/pillows/blankets) and cosy cottage. Though it’s winter, her home is filled with warmth. Missing our after dinner desserts over at the fireplace and morning walks along the lake and fields dotted with woolly sheeps...

− We had issues with shards of glass in the kitchen, we thought from the photos there was a jetty and a few other little things but for the most part we had a fantastic stay.
