Mohamed is a very food host. The villa is well situated close to the ferry dock and King jamaica. The terrace offers a great view. People are all great in the village.

− The noise : we are in low season and the villa opposite (2m from our window) was under work. We didn't know about that and it has been really annoying, we could not sleep on morning and rest on afternoon. Not mohamed's fault and i am sorry to decrease rating, but that is a fact, we did not expect that, it was supposed to be a quiet place. Rooms and bathrooms need extra furnitures such as bedsides lamp and towel rails.

From the moment we arrived, the warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. ​Location & Vibe: The guest house is situated in a remarkably peaceful area on Elephantine Island, offering an authentic and traditional Nubian atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Getting back and forth via the local ferry is seamless and adds a lovely touch to the experience. ​The Terrace & Views: As the name suggests, the rooftop terrace is the absolute star of the show! It offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the Nile, botanical gardens, and surrounding nature. It’s the perfect spot for enjoying breakfast at sunrise or relaxing with tea during sunset. ​Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms are sparkling clean, comfortably furnished, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The beds are comfortable, and the quiet surroundings ensure a restful night's sleep. ​Hospitality & Service: The hosts go above and beyond to ensure every guest has an incredible stay. They are extremely welcoming, helpful with local recommendations, and always ready to assist with transportation or tour arrangements. The homemade breakfast served on the terrace was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and deeply rooted in local flavors. Starting the day with a hot drink while taking in the serene river views was a daily highlight. They also accommodate dietary preferences with great care. ​Activities & Accessibility: The host provided great insights into exploring Elephantine Island, including walks through the colorful Nubian villages, visits to the local museums, and arranging felucca rides at sunset right from the shore. Everything was organized effortlessly. ​Value for Money: Considering the pristine condition of the property, the unbeatable view, and the personalized level of care, the stay offers phenomenal value.

Great location, just a short walk from the boat dock, and the room was clean. However, the quality of the rooms seems to vary. We stayed in the top-floor room for four people. While it was clean, the shower had very low water pressure, and the shower head barely worked, so we had to use the faucet to shower. I understand that the top floor is naturally warmer, but the air conditioning could not cool the room at all. We left it running while we were out, but the host entered our room and turned it off without informing us. Nothing was missing, but it still made us feel uncomfortable. Our friends stayed on the 2 and 3 floors. They experienced the same showering problem, but everything else in their rooms was fine.

Fanastic clean room and great location. You have to chatch a small ferry across but it is quick and cheap. So much quieter than the main side so well worth the five minute trip. Mohammed was great and the room was large and clean. Large communal balcony overlooks the Nile River
