Great value, location....exactly what I needed.
9.0Lovely quiet area, peaceful. House was a beautiful little cottage and parking was easy. My dogs were happy too and they were obviously welcome which was great. Found it easily from the description given by the host.
− Would have been nice if there was a cupboard or draws for the bunk bedded rooms guest to use. There were cobwebs in the lounge on the wall. The bathroom needs a grab rail for getting in and out of the bath. A new toilet brush, bath mat and shower curtains a must. Also some extra attention to dusting in the bathroom would have been nice.

10.0The cottage itself was warm and welcoming, a home from home, a true gem. The location is packed with walks to explore, so much history and a pure natural beauty. If you want a space to find peace and enjoy the beauty surrounding this cottage, then this is the place The locals are friendly, there is a pub called The Greyhound, just round the corner, walking distance, hikers galore, and a short drive to Carlisle to explore the Castle, Cathedral and city itself. The host is always on hand should you need anything at all I have thoroughly enjoyed my solo trip, with Dam, my dog, explored, found peace, and reconnected with nature. I would highly recommend this cottage and location, I will definitely be revisting

9.0Beautiful little cottage located in quiet village. Bedding and towels smelled wonderful...will have to find out what detergent were used. Had everything needed.. Excellent value for money. The Greyhound Inn within 5 minutes walk serving good food.
− My only issue was the washer/dryer....may have been me , but wouldn't dry...I did Google instructions.However clothes horse available.

− Back yard could have had a spruce up and a comfy chair added to the living room but these did not detract from how lovely the cottage is.
