A spotless apartment in a great location. All rooms with en-suite and a few extra bathrooms thrown in for good measure. 😁

− No Parking facilities. Although this didn’t affect us to much, due to our work times.

Would book again, although I'd need them to have bought firmer mattresses first

The location for Pontefract town centre is superb. There are plenty of toilet and shower facilities (1 in each room apart from the kitchen). There was sufficient crockery and cooking facilities aswell as a washing machine. Although there are quite a few stairs (the property is effectively over 3 floors) there is a one sided banister, they are not all straight stairs and some fan. There is 1 twin bedroom on the middle floor (the bottom level is an entrance only). It was warm and no drafts. The hosts made quick contact when we had a query we couldn't resolve

− Not a criticism, more for info. The steps into the property are a little uneven, needs careful consideration re foot position if you have reduced mobility or confidence. All the showers have atleast a 4" step in, and some are larger than others. The bathrooms are tight generally re size, but definitely functional. Whilst the property is slightly tired it was definitely clean and good value for money. The mattresses are all very soft. There are however 10 sleeping places, spread over 4 rooms. 1 x twin beds, 2 x double beds and 1 x 2 double beds. There were limited bulbs for all bedside lamps, but enough for our party size. All in all a nice place to visit Pontefract Town and surrounding areas. Just be aware parking is not available long term outside the property but the Council run Friarwood Carpark is only about a 5 min walk and cost approx £4 a day. It worth noting that the property is next to a pub that is being refurbished. Whilst it was a quiet town centre location for our stay, this could change when the new venue opens.

Im Zentrum von Pontefract. Sehr viele Zimmer mit je einem eigenen Badezimmer.

− Küche ist schlecht ausgestattet (wenig Geschirr, kein Schneidbrett, keine Spülmaschine) und die Möbel fallen beinahe auseinander. Ausserdem wirkt der Zugang ins Appartement durch den Hinterhof etwas abschreckend.

We enjoyed our stay it met all our needs for the weekend and will be booking again in the future

Clean throughout and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of bathrooms and a well kitted out kitchen with a fridge freezer and washing machine. Good internet. Nice lounge and dining room. Great location for Pontefract and car park is a 5 minute walk for £4 for 24 hours.

− Could do with an information folder for the property with contact in emergencies, door keypad numbers inside the property, where the carpark is, places to eat etc . Light bulbs in lamps very scarce indeed, we think that there was a light bulb thief come in before our stay.

We are a family of 7 so loved all the bathrooms. Property was clean

− I felt it was time to replace the beds/ mattresses and my pillow was also a bit past used by. The property is in the middle of town and therefore is noisy from all the pubs (lots of them). The pub or restaurant behind us emptied their bottles in the bins in the land underneath the windrow.
