9.0It was peaceful, clean and tidy, and close to our event venue. The accommodation provided enough space for all guests (5 people, could have slept 6). Good parking for multiple cars. The Host provided plenty of equipment in the house (kitchen well supplied for dish washing, rubbish, cooking). The verandah space catered well for a large group. Lots of space and a large table with seating for 6 (could seat 8). Host could provide more info in house rules/information booklet about the property.
− We liked everything. Although do have some suggestions to make it easier for guests. Give more detailed information in the house rules/info booklet. Example: - Does the house run on tank water; - Does the house have a sewer treatment system or is it on town sewer; - No free to air TV, guests need to log into TV apps to view; - try not to hide important switches in the kitchen (note we had to hunt for the electric stove top cut off switch. We found it after moving a lot of kitchen equipment) - if there are specific requirements to turn things on (eg. The oven) note it for guests (I couldn't turn on the oven). Or note if things take a while to turn on/get hot. - sofa bed, please invest in a flat mattress protector. The fitted one provided is not particularly useful on the sofabed where you can't tuck it under anything. I know IKEA still sell them.
