Peaceful location but poor connectivity
8.0Located on a hilly road above the town, this was a pleasant base for our week in Llanberis to hike Snowdon and the surrounding areas. Very peaceful, we mostly heard sheep, who wandered down the lane occasionally! Very convenient, a 5 minute walk down to shops and restaurants in the evening and walkable to the Llanberis path up Snowdon, the Snowdon train and other attractions. Nicely decorated, spacious kitchen, and washer/dryer was a huge plus for us. Bed was comfortable.
− To get to the property you have to drive up some very narrow lanes and GPS initially sent us up one that wasn’t navigable, so check that directions take you up Ty Du road for easiest access. Parking is right outside the cottage. Quick walk down to town but a steep hill coming back up if not very mobile. Parking down in town is very limited unless paying. Wi-fi in cottage is almost non-existent, had to have phones off wi-fi to get TV to work and then only streaming channels available. Could have used a fan in the bedroom during very hot weather.
Lovely property surprising spacious. We were climbing Mount Snowdon early in the morning. This was the perfect location.

This was a good place to stay over in preparation for our train ride up snowdon
