Our stay was comfortable and the relaxing and the house offered all the amenities that one would need to enjoy your time

The property was well situated in proximity from shops and the beach which we enjoyed

− The only thing I would comment on is the dinning chairs that were not comfy

I loved the location and the house. The views were so beautiful. The wild fynbos surrounding the house made the house feel so private and secluded even though there were neighbour's nearby. Loved the dishwasher. Love the humungous day bed, my parents actually opted to sleep there instead of the room. It was lovely with the fireplace.

− We were a bit taken aback that the house was advertised as having a hot tub but in actual fact it was a splash pool this was one of the main reasons we booked the house.

− Some of issues we had during our stay - accommodation is advertised with hot tub on Booking.com but after paying and confirming with owner they made it clear it’s only a splash pool - we specifically booked it for the hot tub as advertised - ⁠the fireplace door doesn’t close properly - we had to go without a fire the first night as no one could get the latch to work - only on night two did we manage to close the door with some force - ⁠no firewood supplied, were told it’s only “supplied in winter” - we were there in May, with massive rain and wind all weekend so not sure what “supplied in winter” means - ⁠2 bar fridges and basically no freezer is not enough for a 6 sleeper home. We were only 3 people but even for us the bar fridges were not enough. - ⁠the kitchen trash can lid is broken and cannot close - issue with smelling trash - ⁠the toaster isn’t working properly- only toasts bread on 1 side - dishwasher top level is broken - it can’t stay level on track and difficult almost impossible to pack dirty cups / glasses in - ⁠security lights outside come on and off throughout the night - might have been an issue with the wind but there was no way of switching that off. Issue is these lights shine into bedrooms and kept us up with the lights on and off all night

− There were no mosquito vapes or spray, we got eaten alive the first night. No Shampoo or body was in showers, only hand wash in basin. Cleanliness was not tops, window ledges had dead ants along the sills. We were not sure whether we could drink the tap water, not mentioned. Not all doors worked
