Great location near the centre of Appleby and close to the river. Had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. There is permit parking on the road outside and free all-day parking very close by. We would definitely use this accomodation again if we are ever back in the area

Great location, house was spacious and cosy, host Mark responded promptly to any questions and was helpful throughout my stay.

− Stairs were steep! Felt it after my walks in the mountains! Only a minor gripe though!

Good location, parking not a problem. New water pump for the river could however be heard all night in front bedroom Plenty of space - hallway useful. Enclosed back garden All the basics provided - but only one be tiny T towel, no cleaning cloths & no drying rack for wet clothes Helpful host - answered questions promptly

− Relative to other properties I have stayed in & for the price paid it was quite shabby. It would definitely benefit from a deep clean or coat of paint. Generally felt things were not as clean as they might be & towels / bed linen all felt relatively worn / at very cheap end of spectrum
