It was home away from home and I was pleased with the level of comfort and hospitality extended.
9.0Stephie was there to welcome us and show us around. We were very grateful that she agreed to an early check in given I arrived about 9am. I was very pleased to find bottled water and cleaning supplies (although the place was clean), so I did not have to rush down to the supermarket. The bus stop, bakery and pizza place are all less than 5 minutes walk. The apartment is spacious - bedrooms, kitchen, living room, balcony and can accomodate more than the 3 of us that used the place. Lots of supplies (seasonings, cooking utensils), furniture and nice craft. The CHU at le Meynard is less than 15 minutes away by car and so is downtown. I do not mind reserving Chez Stephie if I'm coming to Fort de France again. Stephie also speaks good English, although we conversed mainly in Kweyol/Creole..
− The covering on one of the sofas should be changed.
