Very quiet and comfortable house. Well situated for hiking and visiting Dartmoor, Plymouth, Tavistock. The landscapes are beautiful. Ali and Alan are lovely hosts.

wonderful :)

our stay was really beautiful near the nice little river, the highlight being the self-made lemon cake of our host.. and the awaiting milk!

it is quite an old building and therefore smells a little

A damp retreat from the madness of life.

7.0

Beautiful, oozing charm it was idyllic as far from the madding crowd. The stream outside was lovely, We met the lambs and sheep and chickens. The hosts were the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. And Lemon drizzle cake is supplied as standard and yes to die for! I ate far too much of it ! This is a slice of life straight out of the much simpler past which I did not know still existed. Phone and Internet virtually non existent but who cares? its all part of the beauty of this escape!

Damp. The barn is ancient and really on top of a water meadow. No matter how charming it smells of damp and the bathroom floor is permanently wet.. not damp but wet. If you suffer Asthma or anything triggered by Damp this is not for you. Even on hot days it did not dry. Such a shame as otherwise it was a delight.

Gemütliches Häuschen in der Natur

10.0

Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet! Praktischer Parkplatz. Schöne Lage, sehr ruhig, idyllische Lage. Keine unnötige Deko sondern geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Netter Vermieter. Toller Garten.

Alles war gut, das Haus ist alt daher fühlt es sich etwas feucht an und ist etwas dunkler, aber das ist kein Mangel!

peace and quiet in Devon

The location with the river running right by the patio was lovely and it was not to far from the main road for access but totally quiet and tranquil.
