− We arrived, the owner was still cleaning, asked us to return later, It was not clean, refrigerator was dirty, dirty water in a heated tea pot, dirty dish towels We were not aware it was a basement apartment with a very bad odor, Booking listed it as a luxury bunkhouse, not even close to that There was garbage heaped on the curb It was the worst place we’ve ever encountered, based on the description and reviews We didn’t expect this at all I was told by the host, booking said our arrival time was 1:30am so he wasn’t prepared for us! I had written 2:00 -3:00, the message from booking said check in could be after 12 noon
