Spacious 2 bedroom apartment
9.02 bed apartment down a quiet side track, 5 minutes from main bus station, supermarkets and town. Really friendly, helpful owner who answered all our queries promptly and sorted out any issues in a timely manner. Our arriving bus broke down and we were 4 hours late, after midnight, but she ensured we would find and access the property. Very clean. Key access to front. Excellent wifi/internet/network & streaming services on TV (eg Netflix). Basic kitchen, 2 ring gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, a few pots and pans, plenty of cutlery and crockery. Twin tub washer/dryer in back patio, with drying lines. Large living room with 2 large armchairs, table, chairs, several fans, flat screen TV. Multiple powerpoints throughout. Good lighting throughout. 2 large bedrooms. Comfortable beds, fans, mirror in main bedroom, shelf in second. Good sized bathroom The owners asked us of any issues and said they would address them, so hopefully it will be perfect for the next guests!
− Has a smelly drain aroma, but ok if doors/windows open and/or fans on. Could do with a couple of smaller pans in the kitchen. No visible signs of recycling. Cash only (but US$ or colones). Lack of storage in bedrooms, no bedside tables or lamps. No hooks anywhere apart from one on back of bathroom door. Needs cleaning clothes and more bin bags.

10.0Lovely friendly and helpful host. Great value for a whole place in a quiet neighborhood in easy walking distance of all the tour companies and town. Well stocked kitchen, good facilities (washing machine, streaming service on TV). Great spot to stay before jumping into a Corcovado adventure.
− It does get very hot, but the fans help a lot and it's such great value for the home, the heat was only a minor issue for us. Would stay again for sure.

8.0Big house all to ourselves. 2 hammocks were nice. Covered parking space. Washing machine. One standing fan per person. Owners were very nice.
− Wifi didn't always work (one day it was due to a neighborhood problem.) Sparse kitchenware. House was very hot! Some windows opened but it only cooled down in the late evening. Drapes and drape poles fell down. Make sure to text the owner on WhatsApp, not on the booking.com app. Remember, no hot water at all.
