If you're looking to relax in a beautiful location then look no further
10.0Apart from the road to Gleneagles being temporarily closed due to tree felling, everything else was excellent. Beautiful lodge very well presented and spotlessly clean, couldn't have been in a more perfect location
− Nothing to dislike
It was peaceful and relaxing and the weather was lovely
9.0− The oven didn't come up to temperature, after an hour in the oven at the correct temperature setting it still hadn't started to cook our food.

10.0The location was lovely and exactly as described in the listing. It was super clean, the linen was beautifully fresh and the kitchen was well equipped for making meals. The heating was very effective and the lodge was warm on our arrival which was very welcome. There was a lovely little welcome treat from the hosts too. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed the selection of board games provided too!
− The only *minor* negative was the decking, which could do with some attention on the steps. It was very slippy as expected in the weather but the actual decking boards are loose on a couple of the steps which made them a bit tricky to navigate
We will definitely come back and stay at Poppy Lodge.
