Idyllic and beautifully thought out
10.0Lovely walk to a secluded white sandy beach, fresh local eggs, great water pressure in the shower, midge nets for the windows so you can leave them open, lovely cosy decor, has everything you could possibly need, parking next to the property, short drive to mallaig/white sands, saw sea eagles above the road to the Smiddy.
− Very warm in summer, I recommend bringing a fan like we did.

Calm, peaceful and a great location to enjoy this beautiful part of Scotland.
9.0Location very tranquil and quiet. Beautiful surrounding with a lovely bubbling brook a few feet away. Accommodation was warm and very well equipped with excellent kitchen facilities. Bathroom a good size.
− It is an old highland cottage and so the windows are relatively small making the views to the beautiful gardens a little more restricted.

8.0The fireplace in the bedroom and the cosy vibes it produces. The modern kitchen and underfloor heating are also wonderful. The remoteness of the location with peaceful walks to nearby beaches.
− No baking trays and other kitchen essentials not provided like ladles, wooden spoons. A list of what's provided before staying would be nice.
