Seriously and shockingly bad value. A Fawlty Towers experience.

Not very well signposted and arrival directions took us to a local pub who had to investigate on our behalf as no way to phone the owners. No shade anywhere near the accomodation which made it super hot in the middle of summer, as the afternoon sun beat directly into the cabin. Together with no cross breeze ventilation and the lack of any fan this made the accomodation like a sauna inside. Unbearable and impossible to sleep! We also struggled to cook anything on the hob as the electricity cycled making it very difficult to get anything up to a boiling heat. The drying up cloth provided is the size of a facecloth (really?) and the kitchen cabinets are in in disrepair, coming off their rails, making it very difficult to open the sliding cabinets. Outdoor surrounding grassed area is covered in sheep poo; hard to avoid stepping in it! And the view was non existent as the cabins were positioned looking onto a large bank of solar panels which completely blocked any potential view at all! To top it all the check out instructions provided too late on check out day. Possibly the most disappointing accomodation I have ever booked any time, anywhere.

My name is Jesus Cuellar, and I recently stayed in one of the cabins at Copper Ridge Inn, checking out last Sunday. I want to start by recognizing the staff, who were exceptional throughout my stay. Everyone I interacted with was attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Adrian, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, and his hospitality made a lasting impression. From an aesthetic standpoint, the cabin was beautiful. It was thoughtfully designed, well decorated, and situated in a wonderful location. I also really enjoyed the pub at the inn. Unfortunately, from a practical standpoint, the cabin was much less enjoyable. I understand that the area experienced an unusual heat wave during my visit, but each time I returned to the cabin it was well over 35°C. Even with all the windows open, it retained a tremendous amount of heat and never cooled down enough to be comfortable. As a result, getting a good night's sleep was extremely difficult. I want to emphasize that this is not a reflection of the staff, who were outstanding. Rather, it's feedback about the cabin itself. While it excels in style and appearance, comfort is just as important to me, and unfortunately that was lacking during my stay. I genuinely hope this feedback is helpful, as I think addressing the cabin's ventilation or cooling would significantly improve the experience for future guests. The location, the cabins, and the inn have a great deal of charm, and with improved comfort, I would gladly consider staying again.

The location is stunning. The lodge is really nice and clean and very comfortable.

Would be better for couples as bathroom is in the main bedroom. But would stay again just the two Of us 😊

Expensive for what it is. But charming none the less

The location is great! Lovely & quiet. Beautiful views of the countryside. My dog loved being able to wander free, in the large enclosed field

The cabin is tiny! Really small. Tried to get breakfast at the pub in the morning but no staff available. Not even a coffee

Great location for the Coppleridge Inn

The cabin is lovely, perfect positioning for a wedding at the Inn next door. Lovely views and a compact hut, all we needed.

Firstly a suggestion, although nothing can be done about the weather, a fan in the hut would have brought the temp down slightly. Communication, I messaged three times in the lead up to the stay and had zero communication back from the owners.
