− It was very dirty everywhere . Without clime and TV. The closets smelled of mold. The window îs not outside îs on a lane, which is a boulevard for rats. Everything îs shared with the owners ( kitchen, bathroom, wc). When you want to wc, everytime îs occupied by Bernard, the owner, a old man, which and eat and go to wc. The owners are horrible. Bernard behavies terrible. You have not intimitate there. He want to know when you go, where you go, how much you will stay, when you will come back. When Shirley is not home he wanted to tell you his expirated stories from last century. If you say that you are not interested, he become nervous and aggressive. It was the worst vacation of my life.

Shirley is an excellent host

Shirley is a wonderful host. She is friendly and kind and always helped with any requests. She is a brilliant cook and I had some lovely meals & breakfasts. The house is beautifully situated near the beach and an easy walk into Grand Baie.

− It was extremely hot when I was there and I think a more powerful shower would be a good idea.

If you don’t like hotels and looking for a more local stay surrounded by a family, then that’s your spot. I felt welcomed from the first minute on. Everything is super organised and clean and there’s nothing missing. The location is great and you can reach everything very easily. 100 percent recommendable…especially for solo travellers.

J’ai aimé le lieu par sa tranquillité pas de bruit de voiture. On peut accéder aux plages à pied Shirley et Bernard sont très accueillants et aux petits soins

Shirley und Bernard sind super. Man hat nicht nur das Gefühl Urlaub zu machen, sondern man fühlt sich auch wie bei einem Familienbesuch. Die beiden, aber auch die Nachbarn, lassen einen Mauritius erleben, mit ihrer ganzen Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. Man kann mit allen Fragen zu Shirley und Bernard kommen. Die Lage zum Wasser ist auch top. Über die Straße und schon ist man da. Traumhaft schön. Wenn man nicht nur Urlaub auf Mauritius machen möchte, sondern Mauritius erleben möchte, dann ist man bei Shirley und Bernard genau richtig.
