Friendly host but serious cockroach problem, no compensation.
1.0There is an AC but the use was restricted.
− On the first morning my daughter spotted a cockroach. That second night we encountered 3 large adult American cockroaches in total, with at least 2 emerging directly from the shower drain. These were all different individuals — we killed each one. Adult cockroaches indicate an ongoing infestation in the pipes, not an isolated incident. Pre-placed poison insect traps were already in the apartment on arrival, proving the host was aware of this problem before our stay. When reported, the only response was pouring cleaner down the drain — no professional pest control was called. We were on holiday celebrating my daughter finishing high school. We had no choice but to leave on the second night. When we requested to only pay for the 2 nights stayed, the host refused any compensation whatsoever, claiming there was no problem. Additional issues: wild cats in the garden and excessive flies. The host was personally friendly but this property has serious hygiene issues that were not disclosed and any attempt at fair compensation was flatly refused. Cleanliness: 1/10.

8.0Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und saubere Unterkunft. Sehr schöner Garten mit Holzterasse und Liegen sowie Außenküche, Sitzgelegenheit (Tisch u. Stühle) und Whirlpool! Küche hat alles und Bett ist gut.
− Eine kleine Sitzecke drinnen wäre schön gewesen, aber dafür ist kein Platz.
Great short break, perfect place for some R&R!
9.0The host, Anita, was wonderful. Super attentive and helpful, always just a message away but gave us all the space and privacy we wanted. The house, is absolutely wonderful and a great place to rest & relax. The hot-tub is a great treat and we really enjoyed having it available to us in our (private) garden. You need to get transport to go to any other location but the bus stop is only a short walk away. There's also 2 supermarkets very close by at walking distance and plenty of places to eat. Being removed from the busy touristic areas, meant we got to experience a lot more of the local traditional culture, which was what we were looking for.
