Peaceful retreat surrounded by nature
9.0A spacious apartment, on the top floor of a charming Bio-farm, surrounded by endless green fields and forest patches, mountains on the horizon... It was the perfect remote base for us to slow down, cook our own meals, and explore the region. The space is clean, well built and comfortable, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, a warm shower. A standout feature for us were the electric shutters on the roof windows — being able to properly darken the bedroom is a rare "5-star" luxury! Be aware the apartment has a tendency to warm up considerably, though there is a provided air conditioning in the living room which works well, but the bedroom doesn't get it so well. The owners were welcoming and hard-working people, We enjoyed being able to buy some dairy farm products directly on-site. The animals were all around, especially the curious and friendly cows. Austria has excellent roads, it was an easy drive to Salzburg and the Eisriesenwelt.
− We were a little sad that there weren't any home-grown vegetables or eggs available; And the nearest Farm shop was closed during all of our stay, so we had to go to normal supermarkets for fresh produce.
