We had a wonderful stay at Sierra Sacred Valley, it turned out to be the perfect choice to acclimatize to the high altitude. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, they were genuinely concerned about my altitude sickness (which wasn't that severe, but maybe I looked worse than I felt) and offered some remedies. Luis told us all about the area, a lot you wouldn't get from tourist guides, and also took us on a lovely hike up the mountain behind us. The food in the restaurant was great, though certainly some dishes are better than others, and there really isn't much of a need to go out. The llamas are such a nice touch, something about having them around induces relaxation a peaceful feeling. We intend to return to Peru, the Sacred Valley and Sierra!

A wonderful experience

A one-night stay at Sierra Sacred Valley was all it took for us to fall in love with this place. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a calm and relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by the beautiful, serene landscapes of the Sacred Valley. The intimate experience here is truly what makes it special. We particularly enjoyed the evening fireside session, where the owner, Luis, shared fascinating insights about the various experiences Cusco has to offer. And of course, getting to pet the resident llamas was an absolute delight—they're just as cute and charming as you'd imagine! Our room was perfect and spotlessly clean, making for a comfortable and restful stay. But the standout of our trip was the incredible service, especially from Bruno. As vegetarians, we were concerned about our dining options, but Bruno went above and beyond, ensuring we had delicious, special menu options that were both thoughtful and incredibly tasty. The entire experience felt less like a hotel stay and more like visiting family. We only had one day to spend here, but we would happily return and stay for weeks if we had the chance. We can't recommend this place enough!

What a tranquil and beautiful place. I was in the area, visiting from Las Vegas and could not have picked a more serene place to stay. They took care of everything for me. Bruno is the most attentive, speedy and helpful host, who made sure I wanted for nothing. The food was phenomenal and the owner and staff were unbelievably friendly and accommodating. The massages were wonderful and onsite in your room. The tub was massive and the views were breathtaking. I wish everyday could be as magical as the days I spent here.

Staying at Sierra Sacred Valley was such an incredible experience. I have never stayed at a place where the staff were so invested in and intentional about making sure you are having an amazing vacation. The staff is incredibly welcoming and eager to tell you about the area, surrounding areas, and history. After hearing about a bunch of options for excursions while Luis prepared a campfire for us, we took a 3-hour hike with Luis, in which he explained Inca traditions and customs of the area. It was really engaging and interesting! The alpacas roaming the property were amazing and unique to experience waking up and seeing them outside your window. Finally, the food was great, which was a relief because there weren’t many options in walking distance. I really cannot recommend Sierra Sacred Valley enough!

This place is paradise! Owned by Silvia and Luis, every detail is taken care of. The room is incredibly beautiful and comfortable, the view to the mountains breathtaking, the food delicious, the selection of wines from many countries also outstanding. We highly recommend this place to stay as a base to visit the Sacred Valley. Enjoy the fabulous breakfast and amazing dinner plus the firepit and the music. We will return!
